(Vince) Mayne progressed through financial management positions of increasing\nresponsibility to controller position at CIBC’s IT business unit. Earlier\, he worked in finance and accounting positions at Nestlé\, Shell\, Texaco and Imperial Oil. More recently\, Vince has expanded his volunteer portfolio to include the CPA Canada financial literacy workshops. Over a period of 7 years Vince personally hosted numerous workshops in local schools\, senior citizens’ centres and small businesses throughout Ontario. Although CPA Canada labels its service to Canadians as financial literacy\, Vince maintains that ‘financial wellness’ better describes the value of his volunteer effort. \n\nLanguage interpretation is available\, based on need. DESCRIPTION:This online program is intended for Permanent Residents who have applied or are in the process of applying for Canadian citizenship. It is designed to help you prepare to take the Canadian citizenship test. \nUsing the Discover Canada: The Rights and Responsibilities of Citizenship study guide\, we will provide you with many opportunities to learn\, study\, and practice material that will be on your test. Participants should have already completed CLB level 4 for Listening and Speaking. \nThe program will be delivered online\, using Zoom and runs for 8 weeks.
