SUMMARY:Worker Health & Safety Awareness Training
DESCRIPTION:At this session\, participants will gain knowledge of their rights and responsibilities under the Occupational Health and Safety Act and increase their awareness of basic workplace health and safety issues. The session will take place in person\, at Immigrant Services. \n Participants will receive a certificate of participation at the end of this session. \nDiscussion topics include: \n\nWhy health and safety is important\nHealth and safety responsibilities\nRecognizing and controlling hazards\nThree workers’ rights\n\nView PDF flyer. \nLanguage interpretation is available\, based on need.
