SUMMARY:Barkat - Nature Art Workshops
DESCRIPTION:Over the course of 6 workshops\, we will connect with and explore nature around us using a variety of techniques such as: journaling\, poetry\, storytelling\, dance\, photography\, painting\, sketching. The workshops will take place in person at ISGW in collaboration with local artist Nimra Bandukwala. Participants will have the opportunity to share their writing\, art\, and reflections at a culminating exhibition (date to be determined) for friends\, family and the community. DESCRIPTION:This online program is intended for Permanent Residents who have applied or are in the process of applying for Canadian citizenship. It is designed to help you prepare to take the Canadian citizenship test. \nUsing the Discover Canada: The Rights and Responsibilities of Citizenship study guide\, we will provide you with many opportunities to learn\, study\, and practice material that will be on your test. Participants should have already completed CLB level 4 for Listening and Speaking. \nThe program will be delivered online  using Zoom and runs for 8 weeks.
