(Vince) Mayne\, CPA. \nWe will talk about: \n\nWhy teaching kids about money is important\nThe goals and challenges of raising money-smart kids\nAge-appropriate teaching for young children\, pre-teens\, teenagers and emerging adults\nTips on allowance\, budgeting\, credit cards\, cell phones\, virtual spending\n\nView PDF flyer. \n\nAbout our guest speaker: Prior to retiring V.P. (Vince) Mayne progressed through financial management positions of increasing\nresponsibility to controller position at CIBC’s IT business unit. Earlier\, he worked in finance and accounting positions at Nestlé\, Shell\, Texaco and Imperial Oil. More recently\, Vince has expanded his volunteer portfolio to include the CPA Canada financial literacy workshops. Over a period of 7 years Vince personally hosted numerous workshops in local schools\, senior citizens’ centres and small businesses throughout Ontario. Although CPA Canada labels its service to Canadians as financial literacy\, Vince maintains that ‘financial wellness’ better describes the value of his volunteer effort. \n\nLanguage interpretation is available\, based on need.
