DESCRIPTION:Human trafficking is happening in communities across Canada\, but you have the power to help stop it.\nLearn\, Recognize\, Share – Save Lives!\nJoin SWIS workers and youth leaders from ISGW as well as guest speakers from local organizations for a series of five workshops to learn about human trafficking\, prevention and supports. \nFebruary 2: Jaseth from Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis on the process of human trafficking. \nFebruary 9: Director of the Sexual Assault Centre\, Guelph General Hospital on how to provide support to victims of human trafficking and how the hospital supports its victims. \nFebruary 16: speaker to be confirmed \nFebruary 23: Sarah Bowers-Peter\, Program Coordinator\, Crime Stoppers Guelph-Wellington on\nthe process of reporting crime through Crime Stoppers. \nMarch 2: Melanie Dewar\, Human Trafficking Officer\, Guelph Police Service on cybersecurity and how to remain safe on the internet. \nView PDF flyer. \nParticipation is open to high school students.
