SUMMARY:Supporting Your Children's Learning
DESCRIPTION:Parents/Guardians are invited to join us in person at ISGW to learn about activities and resources you can use at home to support your children’s learning. \nWe‘re pleased to have guest speaker Sandra Huehn from United for Literacy with us at the session. \nAt this session\, we will provide: \n\nAn overview of the Ontario school curriculum\nTime for questions\nLearning resources for school-age children in the community\nFree children’s books\n\nThe emphasis of the presentation will be on elementary school-age children however resources and information on pre-school and high school will also be presented. \nView PDF flyer. \nLanguage interpretation is available\, based on need. Please register as soon as possible and be sure to complete the interpretation section of the registration form. \nRefreshments and a light lunch will be provided. Children are welcome. \nBus tickets are available on request. \nDo you want to attend but can’t make it in person.
