We invite you to join us for a walk in nature at Guelph Enabling Garden (GEG), located in Riverside Park. It is a multi-use garden designed for everyone, specifically to enable people to enjoy the full range of benefits that gardening can provide.
Heidi Torreiter is a Horticultural Therapist at the garden. She works with people to connect them to nature for greater well-being. During these bi-weekly sessions, she will lead us on a tour of the beautiful garden, guiding us to use our senses as we explore. Afterwards, we will have some garden tea (bring a mug!), learn about current programs at the garden, and chat about how the Guelph Enabling Garden could better serve new Canadians in Guelph! Bring your suggestions for plants you would like to see in the garden next year. We look forward to meeting you in the park!
Please note that this activity will take place bi-weekly from Thursday, September 22 until Thursday, October 20
