Orientation to Ontario at Immigrant Services

Orientation to Ontario (O2O) is a bilingual initiative designed to ease the transition of newcomers by providing access to settlement information and connecting newcomers to community services in Ontario. The program is coordinated by COSTI Immigrant Services.

Immigrant Services Guelph-Wellington is pleased to host several O2O workshops throughout the year that focus on valuable information about Ontario and the Guelph community! We tailor our workshops for specific audiences including:

• Refugees (offered in Tigrinya)
• Youth
• Women
• International Students

Topics include: Getting to Know Canada and Ontario, Living in Your New Community, Education and Training, Working and Business, Money and Personal Finances, and People and the Environment. Topics will be chosen by the participants. Special guest speakers are invited to each workshop to cover topics and programs available through the City of Guelph. Interpretation support is available if needed.

Everyone is welcome, including visitors to Canada!
