About our guest speaker: Prior to retiring V.P. (Vince) Mayne progressed through financial management positions of increasing
responsibility to controller position at CIBC’s IT business unit. Earlier, he worked in finance and accounting positions at Nestlé, Shell, Texaco and Imperial Oil. More recently, Vince has expanded his volunteer portfolio to include the CPA Canada financial literacy workshops. Over a period of 7 years Vince personally hosted numerous workshops in local schools, senior citizens’ centres and small businesses throughout Ontario. Although CPA Canada labels its service to Canadians as financial literacy, Vince maintains that ‘financial wellness’ better describes the value of his volunteer effort.
Language interpretation is available, based on need. If you would like to request an interpreter, please register by Monday, August 26.
