Join our SWIS team in person at ISGW, to talk about parenting in Canada with guest speaker Priya Prince.
Priya Prince is a registered mental health professional serving adults, children and families across Ontario in both private and community settings. She is culturally sensitive and trauma informed and trained in various modalities to better support the community.
We will talk about:
- Parenting in a new country, raising children between two cultures
- Positive discipline
- Parent-child communication
- Child development and needs
- Involvement in school life
- Parental role and shared responsibility
- Screen time and technology
- Mental health and parenting
- Teen challenges and parenting teens
