Kindergarten Registration for the 2025-2026 School Year!

Registration will open on January 6, for children who will be 4 or 5 years old by December 31, 2025, to start Kindergarten at Wellington Catholic District School Board in September 2025!

Kindergarten at the Wellington Catholic District School Board is a faith-based, two-year program where children grow, learn, and explore through play and inquiry. These early years introduce children to our Wellington Catholic family and provide a strong foundation for their future education.

Who Can Register?

Year 1 Kindergarten: Children who turn four years of age on or before December 31, 2025.
Year 2 Kindergarten: Children who turn five years of age on or before December 31, 2025.

How Do I Register?

1. Visit Our Website – Confirm your local school and admission eligibility before starting. https://www.wellingtoncdsb.ca/registration/kindergarten_registration

2. Pre-Register – Submit basic information to receive a unique registration code by email. Use the code and link provided to complete the online registration process.

3. Visit the School – Schedule a meeting to verify information and bring required documents.

What Documents Do I Need to Register?

To complete your child’s registration, please have the following documents ready:

  • Your child’s birth certificate
  • A Baptismal certificate (for parent or child)
  • Custody papers, if applicable
  • Proof of tax support (e.g., most recent tax bill, for families new to the system)
  • Proof of address

Before and After School Programs

Where there is sufficient interest, Before and After School programs will be available.
