Since 2007, Immigrant Services Guelph-Wellington has been organizing assistance with tax preparation through CRA’s Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP). We are very pleased to be offering free income tax preparation again this year, for those who have a modest income and a simple tax situation.

It is important to file your income tax return every year to continue to receive any benefits that you are eligible for.

Beginning March 2, during office hours, Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 4:30pm, appointments are available in-person, virtually using Zoom and by document drop off, for ISGW clients to book a tax appointment with a settlement counsellor.
On Saturdays, February 28 – April 25, 9:00am – 12:00pm, ISGW clients and community members can book an appointment to have their tax return completed by a volunteer. Please note there is no service on Saturday, March 21 and April 4.
Multi-language service: We can help you in your own language. Let us know that you would like interpretation when you book your appointment.
