Please note that the August session has been moved to Thursday, August 14.
Over the course of 6 workshops, we will connect with and explore nature around us using a variety of techniques such as: journaling, poetry, storytelling, dance, photography, painting, sketching. The workshops will take place in person at ISGW in collaboration with local artist Nimra Bandukwala. Participants will have the opportunity to share their writing, art, and reflections at a culminating exhibition (date to be determined) for friends, family and the community. Barkat – Nature Art Workshops is funded by the Ontario Arts Council.
Full descriptions of the workshops, including biographies of the facilitators, is available here: https://is-gw.ca/barkat-nature-art-workshop-series/
